Another loss .4. All is well.
It is a nice foggy morning. Perfect for November. Love it!
I need to find a source for egg whites. I don’t see any reason too buy whole eggs and toss out the yolks. That one yolk yesterday put the cholesterol number too high. It was 329 for the day. It has to be under the 300 mark, preferably even lower.
On the Menu Today
- 3 egg whites
- 1tbs. marinara sauce(mine)
- 1 cup black bean salad
- 1 orange
- salmon
- green beans
- 10 walnut halves
- 3 dates
I have made a menu for Thanksgiving day. It isn’t going to be as huge as I made in the past years, but still plenty of food.
Thanksgiving Menu
- 14 Pound Tom
- Whole wheat bread dressing with celery, onion, non fat chicken broth, fresh basil
- Mashed potato with 2% milk and butter
- Organic corn
- Baked yams
- Whole wheat dinner rolls
- Cranberry sauce sweetened with honey
- Pumpkin butter
- Greek and Italian olives
- Hain fat free gravy
- Merlot
I am not making the usual turkey fat drippings gravy. Everybody loves it, but I can’t see a reason to make it ever again. We all like the Hain fat free Organic gravy mix too.
I like the moist stuffing like when it is inside the bird but, can’t stand removing it and all the fats in it. So, I make the stuffing as usual, put it in a big bread pan, pat it down good, add the mashed potatoes on top piled high, and bake it. The stuffing is just as moist as if it were in the bird.
I’ll put the food into the cron 0 meter to see how the calories are for the meal and see how much I can have. I plan on about 500 calories for me and that has to include the wine. I will have to measure that too. A first, I always measured by counting the empty bottle (s).
Time to cook the egg whites, wonder if I” ever enjoy them. Maybe if I can cook them to perfection, NO brown anywhere. Nothing is worse than an over cooked egg. I can almost smell it now. That me, pinching my nose and gagging..
OK, so I cooked the darn egg whites, even ate them, didn’t like them, but— I am not hungry. I will find a way to make them taste good. Somehow! Someday! Someway!

Sounds like a great meal! I applaud you in your weight loss effort. It is something that I need to do myself but you are actually doing it and it looks like you have been very successful with it.
