Getting Control of Hunger

Control

I can’t seem to get control of my hunger and eating. I am consuming about 1500 to 1700 calories a day and it shows in my weight gain. I am back to 164 again, while isn’t a huge amount it is not where I want to be.
I am still eating too much fruit. yesterday it was a variety of fruit, no cherries, but still to much. I had 1 banana, 6 strawberries, 1/4 cup blueberries, 4 apricots, and 2 nectarines. I also had 3 slices of bread, 2 slices of Roasted Turkey, 2 eggs, 5 oz. salmon, 2 ears of fresh corn, a dab of butter and 3 oz of chicken breast. Far to much food and I was hungry for more. Once I get started eating to much it is so easy to over eat. Getting control of less calories and adjusting to less is going to be just as hard as it was 7 months ago. Once I adjust to less I begin to feel better, so it is so worth it to get back eating just under 1000 calories a day.

A Plan

I need a plan of attack. I will try using Trimspa for a few days to see if it helps. I will buy less fruit, I will count my calories using the cron O meter.

If I can do all those things I should be able to stop this trend of over eating.

There is still a positive side of this. All the food is still good food, YIKES, I just remembered something, yesterday we had a turkey san on whole wheat at a great bakery in Berkeley. We shared it, I had the smaller half, but, the darn thing came with a bag of chips. Terrible, we also shared this nasty 150 calorie thing, Just a few months ago I would have tossed it out. See, I have to get back to where my mind was 2 months ago.

Stress?

I could blame this change in me on my situation because some very stressful things are happening for me.

The biggest is my income. My business has gone from great to almost gone in 2 months. This couldn’t be at a worse time. We just received the IRS bill. We owe almost 6k and planned on paying it from the business. I stupidly opened a credit card and quickly chargedĀ  it to almost the limit. We went from 0 debt to 9k in a very short time. Of course the business could pay this off no problem if it was going great like it was 3 months ago. Our income can not.

I tried to get more work, but after working for myself for over 26 years it is so darn hard to work for someone else. It didn’t work out. I tried selling my equipment, it is so darn old it isn’t worth much.

I gave notice to the landlord we were closing the lab then 3 days later decided to stay. Even if it makes only $500 net a month I think it I should keep it going. Every cent it makes will go toward the debt.

I will have lots of free time to figure out a new business. One with very little overhead.

So bottom line, yes I think all the stress of not being prepared for this disaster with my business has caused me to get off track with my calorie counting.

Positive

I am feeling more positive today, after receiving the results of my blood work and finding that my hard work for the past 7 months had paid off. I was very worried about that too.

Today I have to work. I actually have more work in the lab than I had all last month. So I am pretty darn happy about that.

Hi! I used(and continue to use swiming) to get back and keep in shape. 5 hours/week and not only I lost a lot of weight but also got some nice muscle too in under a month. The same goes for my girlfriend to. Highly recommend.
