Chocolate

I haven’t eaten chocolate for a few months, so when I saw Chocolate Bread with Sour Cherries at Whole Foods I had to have it. What a treat, only 190 calories for a 2 oz slice. It is a Limited Edition bread, that could be a good thing because I would buy at least one loaf a week. This bread is better than a cake and lasts longer than a Hersey bar. I want more!! I will be looking for more of the La Brea Bakery Artisan Breads on my next visit to Whole Foods. It sure is satisfying and curbs a chocolate binge.

Weight

I am thrilled to finally see the scales moving down again. I lost 7 pounds in the last month. I thought it was worse than that. Seven pounds is fantastic for me.

I am not going to set any loss goals. It is just to discouraging when I don’t meet one. I still weigh myself morning and night and write the figure on my chart. I still am only 2 pounds heavier at night, around midnight, than I am in the am, about 9:30. Setting a goal of 190 by Jan 1 set me up for too much disappointment when I didn’t reach it. So, skip the goal idea, just continue doing CR and be happy.

Sure wish I had a piece of Chocolate bread, raisin bread seems so dull and a waist of calories.
