Calorie Restriction and looking fit

I have joined a gym.
My original goal was to lose weight counting calories and getting my body used to what it needs to be healthy and slim and not exercise. I did this because I wanted food or less food, to be what made me lose the weight I needed  not exercise. It worked, I have lost 86 pounds without sweating it out at the gym. I also was very afraid of hurting myself, but that is another issue.
My very first day of working out was so easy for me. I was never uncomfortable and managed just fine. I know I couldn’t have done this at 227 pounds or even 160. I am now 141 with 20 pounds left to lose.
The exercise is to tone my muscle and give me strength, not to lose the 20 pounds. I will do that with Calorie Restriction.
Looking fit
Today as I was leaving the gym a nice lady stopped and said to me ” You are sure looking fit”. Ha, I sure didn’t get that way in the 7 times I have worked out. It was food choices and calorie restriction. I just told her “Thank You”. I sure wanted to tell her more but most people don’t believe me so why bother. It is my little secret. You don’t have to exercise to lose weight, you don’t have to exercise to maintain your weight, you do need to exercise for strength and muscle tone. It was not the fact that I didn’t exercise that put the 100 pounds on me, it was food, bad food, all that white food.
At 141 pounds and choosing healthy foods my body is lean, very lean, I am never puffy either. I am wearing a extra small work out stretch pants, size 7 jeans and medium tops. Big change from the 2x I was wearing before Calorie Restriction.
When I started CR my waist was 44, it is now 28. This is without exercise. There is no excuse to be fat. Do not ever say this” I can’t lose weight because I can’t exercise”.

Oh yes you can!!
