Budda Belly

On September 23, I was 221, today 211. One month with a 10 pound loss, 16 total. I am in my third day in 211.

I am so glad the scales have the tens in them. I had to look at the same weight for 4 days it would really discourage me. I love seeing me loose 2, 4, 6 or 8 tenths. Today it was 4 tenths. I step on the scale twice and take the second reading.

I know the less I weigh the less calories my sedentary body burns. So, that is the reason for joining Curves when I reach 190 or so. I read that the Curves workout burns about 200 calories. This should be enough so I can stay at the 1000 calories a day. My body at my current weight burns 1580 so if I don’t do some form of exercise I might gain or just maintain on less calories. I need to see how many 190 pounds burns.

I also need to buy a book on the CR life style, the only way for me to keep my body from storing fat. I need recipes.

I am still cooking for the Greek. I am using no added oils or butter for him. I don’t need to add them anyway. He does that himself. He could loose 15 pounds and still have that manly shape. He does have a Buddha belly. I would guess he is about 235. He is almost 6 ft tall.

Rats, he finally weighed himself. He is 213. His belly measures 45, he needs to loose 10 inches in the belly. He is going to go for it. I need to loose 9, my belly measures 41. Ouch!
