Rancho Gordo
The Heirloom beans from Rancho Gordo came this morning. Now to decide which one to cook. They are so beautiful.
I think I will start with the Black Nightfall.
An update on the Black Nightfall beans. They are fantastic, the flavor is the best I have ever tasted. I cooked them with an onion, celery, and bay leaf. They don’t need anything else. The Greek even enjoyed them and he isn’t a bean eater. I am really looking forward to the other 5 varieties I ordered. What a lucky find.

The scales moved a tad down again today. Loving that.
My goal was 190 in December, that is 8 pounds away. I am thinking I might make it. Each day I am feeling better and better living the CR lifestyle. I am convinced that I would eat like this even if I didn’t loose weight. The more I learn about CR the more I enjoy it.

I might add another fruit. Right now I am feeling great and not hungry for any. It’s nice to leave 100 calories if I change my mind, I have been known to do that often.
