A Steady Weight Loss

I am happy to say I am still loosing about .2 pounds a day. This hasn’t varied for months. That makes it about 6 or 7 pounds a month, which I think is pretty darn good.

Food chart

It is time for me to make a chart of our favorite foods, find their nutrients and serving size, and keep it in the kitchen. I use the cron o meter but have to run in the computer room to use it. We seem to eat the same foods over and over again and also seasonal. It should be easy to make a chart. I want to know how much protein and nutrients I am getting at a glance. I have been using the cron o meter long enough to know I need to get more calcium, vitamin D, vitamin K, and a few others. Hope I can get the chart made this weekend. It will also be added to this blog as a link.

Brain Exercise

We have decided to start exercising our brains. While I am not a great physical exerciser, and won’t ever be. I do want to have a sharp brain. I find it needs exercise more than the body does. I am hunting for some good brain exercises to do. I like that kind of exercise. http://www.wikihow.com/Exercise-Your-Brain
Hope the Greek enjoys the exercises. I think he needs them more than I do, he is also younger than me and should have a better memory but doesn’t. He better enjoy our new exercises.  He already knows everything there is to know, it might be hard to learn something new for him. :)

Congrats on your steady weight loss. You are obviously doing something right. Normally the only nutritional information I look for on labels is how much sodium, cholestoral and sugars are contained in each serving. Keep up the good work.
